Keyword filter

Never see a topic you're done with.

Tired of spoilers, diet trends or wedding ideas long after the wedding? Add a word to Feed Cleaner and every pin that mentions it disappears, on your home feed, in search and on pin pages.

  • Matches pin titles and descriptions
  • Short words match whole words only, so “ai” won't hide “hair”
  • Up to 200 words, synced across your browsers
  • Works in any language Pinterest shows

No card and no account. Ad blocking stays free after the trial.

How to set it up

  1. 1

    Install Feed Cleaner

Add it to Chrome, Firefox or Edge from your browser's store. Every Pro feature is unlocked for your first 3 days.

  2. 2

    Add your words

Open Settings and find “Keyword filter”. Add words like tattoo, keto or wedding, one at a time or separated by commas.

  3. 3

    Scroll a calmer feed

Pins that mention any of your words are hidden as you scroll. Remove a word to bring them back.

Questions, answered

Can you filter keywords on Pinterest?

Pinterest lets you tune recommendations and hide single pins, but it has no list of muted words. Feed Cleaner adds one for pinterest.com on your computer.

What does the keyword filter check?

A pin's title and description. Pins that only show a word inside the image itself, with no matching text, won't be caught.

Does it work in the Pinterest app?

Not in the app itself, because phone apps do not allow extensions. On Android it works in Firefox for Android, and on iPhone and iPad in Orion. Our install guide has the steps for each.

How much does it cost?

The keyword filter is part of Feed Cleaner Pro: $2.99 per month, $19.99 per year, $39 once. Your first 3 days are free with no card.
